In giving to the Southeast Alabama Sickle Cell Association, you help us continue our education, community service and client support services. Whether you are a long time supporter or you are giving or the first time, thank you for your commitment to Help Break the Sickle Cycle. You help us serve those with sickle cell in so many vital ways. Together, we can touch the lives of people that we may never meet, but can offer to them hope, energy and determination to lead their lives as we champion the way in finding a cure.

There are many ways you can give:

Individual Gifts - There are many ways to give a gift and in turn enjoy the tax benefit of your generosity. Planned giving, long term giving and charitable remainder trusts are some of the ways to consider. If you are interested in exploring the avenue towards larger donations and the benefits of the same, we would be happy to share information with you.

Workplace Gifts and Beyond
- Everyday you are in contact with a "tree of giving". Those branches extend to the people you work with, your associates, your family, friends, neighbors, and the members of your church or place of worship...they are invested in you. Give them an opportunity to contribute to a cause that is closest to your heart. Asking for help sometimes is a great gift in itself. Set a goal and raise that goal, within a specified time period, and you will encourage your "tree of giving" to extend their branches as well.

Employee Matching Programs - If you or anyone from your "tree of giving" is working with a corporation, that corporation may, in fact, match a gift that you give to SEASCA. Many companies are willing to give $1 for every $2 or $3 raised. The Human Resources Department or Corporate Giving Department should be able to advise you of their requirements. Set a goal and raise that goal, within a specified time period and you will exhibit a commitment matched by a committed company as well.

Volunteer - Sickle cell disease is a disease that effects the red blood cells causing them not to function properly subsequently blocking blood flow.  This painful condition affects everyone from babies through adults and research is consistently needed to eradicate this horrible condition.  Volunteers are needed; please contact Mrs. Wendy Morgan for additional information at (334) 727-6120. Email: wmorgan@seasca.com

Tributes - You know someone that is a hero. Someone that wakes up each day and overcomes insurmountable odds. Perhaps someone that has sickle cell or someone that is a caregiver. Honor that person by making a contribution in their name and having it listed on the SEASCA Tribute Page (coming soon) on our web site.

Memorials Remember someone special by giving a gift in their memory. The SEASA Memorial Page (coming soon) on our web site will list those individuals that have touched your life and at the same time give you an opportunity to contribute on their behalf. It is a way to share the faith that eventually a cure for sickle cell disease will be found and a personal battle that appears as a loss, is truly the encouragement to move one to action.

Planned Giving Long Term Giving Charitable Remainder Trusts - There are many ways to give a gift and in turn enjoy the tax benefit of your generosity. Planned giving, long term giving and charitable remainder trusts are some of the ways to consider. If you are interested in exploring the avenue towards larger donations and the benefits of the same, we would be happy to share information with you.
