The 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Held on July 30th at Auburn Links at Mills Creek in Auburn Alabama was a great success. Thanks to our sponsors, participants and volunteers for your support of the Southeast Alabama Sickle Cell Association.

Not only did we have a great variety of prizes, but the Mulligan, 50/50 split and raffle tickets brought in much needed funds for the organization. Although it was hot luck was on our side with the beautiful weather, but unfortunately no one won the $25,000 hole-in-one competition despite some great attempts. Hopefully everyone will get a chance to try again next year.

A big thanks to our sponsors and supporters. Again congratulations are in order for James Stevens and Melvin Frederick for coming in first place for the men and Kim Davis and Susan Kim for the ladies. Luther Curry and Prince Goodwin for the men and Liz Benton and Nannie Wilson for the ladies placed second. Herbert Waddell and Lasalle Barrett for the men and Sandy Osborne and Patricia Ann Martin for the ladies placed third.
